Bryan Leitch, Executive Assistant

Elect your leaders!

Voting for association and CMLS officers, directors begins June 6

Meet your candidates

We want your vote in 2012! In this year’s races, members will vote for president-elect, secretary, and association and CMLS boards of directors’ at-large positions. Those elected will begin serving in 2013.

Members may vote online from June 6 at 8:30 a.m. until June 27 at 5 p.m. Votes will be tabulated at the conclusion of electronic voting, and results will be announced after candidates are notified. To vote, go to www.CarolinaRealtors.com and follow the prompts.

The online-voting system ensures that only eligible Realtor® members of the association and/or CMLS can access the appropriate ballot to vote, and restricts each Realtor® to voting only once. Association members who do not have access to the Internet may vote online at the association office in Charlotte at 1201 Greenwood Cliff, Suite 200, during normal business hours (8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, from June 2 through June 23).

A manual ballot will be provided to any Realtor® who does not have Internet access or is ill and unable to come to the association offices. A signed, witnessed request for a ballot must be sent to Bryan Leitch, executive assistant, at P.O. Box 35511, Charlotte, NC 28235.

All votes are confidential, and candidates receiving the largest number of votes cast will be the winners. The election judge will oversee the vote tabulation.

In reading about the candidates, please note that the “Leadership/Committee Experience” listed is only a candidate’s background as it pertains to the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association, North Carolina Association of Realtors® (NCAR) or National Association of Realtors® (NAR). Committees listed are for the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association unless otherwise noted. Designations noted were earned by the candidates but have not necessarily been maintained.

What is your vision for CMLS? I feel that CMLS needs to:Provide and upgrade the tools/systems that benefit the Realtor® base (e.g., Centralized Showing Services (CSS), Fusion, education).  Continue to research and possibly implement new systems and tools (e.g., Realtors® Property Resource (RPR)).  Listen to and focus on the needs and wants of our constituents. Candidate bio
